PGD Update

Dr Referral

Our referral process has recently changed - South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) are now partnering with eHealth to expand electronic referrals to outpatient services.

As of June 12th 2024 our preferred method of GP referrals are via electronic SmartForms and eRMS (electronic referral management systems) or via the MyHealthLink portal. The use of eReferrals allows for referrals to be sent, received and managed electronically. Each individual patient will require a referral to our service prior to initial consultation. Referrers and patients will also receive notification of referral outcomes. Referrals for couples will be placed on hold until both individual referrals are received. Our Pre-implantation Genetic Testing program is now accepting new referrals, please be advised that due to high demand there are significant wait times for initial appointments. Please contact the Fertility & Research Centre on (02) 9382 6666 for further information.

Fertility Preservation referral

Patients seeking fertility preservation are still able to submit referral forms via the Oncofertility preservation form. All urgent referrals email: seslhd-fertilityandresearchcentre@health.nsw.gov.au
